Side-Scan Sonar Data and High Resolution Maps

This file contains the whole Side-Scan Sonar dataset used in the experiments of the paper High-resolution Underwater Mapping using Side-Scan Sonar (PLOS One, currently under review). The dataset is presented as different .PNG and .JPG images corresponding to each particular transect during the mission execution. Each image contains the raw data and the different processing steps described in the paper. The estimated AUV trajectory is shown geo-referenced. Some examples of high-resolution maps are also shown.

The file contains several images and an HTML file. The HTML file serves as an index to easily identify the image files. The best way to access the data is to unzip all the data in the same directory and then open the HTML file in a web browser.
