Females exhibit a higher overall prevalence of anemia (41.1%) compared to males (27.1%). In terms of severity, both sexes have equal prevalence of mild anemia (21.1%). However, moderate anemia is more common in females (15%) than in males (5.6%), and severe anemia is significantly higher in females (5%) compared to males (0.4%).
