Phylogenetic Tree of Simiiformes with CD4 receptors

Phylogenetic Tree of CD4 Proteins from nine species. Coding sequences were obtained from a TBLASTN search for homologs of chimpanzees CD4 protein. Sequences of 6 resistant species: bonobo, chimpanzees, golden snubbed monkey, gorilla, sooty mangabey, and vervet monkey. Additionally, 3 susceptible species were obtained: indochinese rhesus, southern pig-tailed macaque, and Sumatran orangutan. Sequences were compiled in a fasta file. Fasta file for CD4 was pasted into PhyML and Figtree and then submitted.
