Phylogenetic affiliation of three core phage genes from A. nasoniae str. FIN:

a) phage portal protein

b) lysozyme

c) capsid protein

Protein homologs were retrieved from genbank database based on blastp searches and aligned using mafft v7 and default parameters (K. Katoh, D.M. Standley, Mol Biol Evol, 2013, 30:772–780, doi:10.1093/molbev/mst010).

Maximum likelihood phylogenetic analysis was performed in IQ-TREE v1.6.6 (L-T. Nguyen, H.A. Schmidt, A. von Haeseler, B.Q. Minh, Mol Biol Evol, 2015, 32:268–274, doi:10.1093/molbev/msu300) using the automated best model selection and robustness inferred by 1000 ultrafast bootstrap replicates.

A.nasoniae phage genes are indicated in blue on the figure.
