The Pattern Glare Test (PGT) is an instrument by Wilkins and Evans (2001) that measures visual sensitivities and discomfort. Pattern glare illusions include pain/discomfort, nausea/dizziness, unease, shadowy shapes amongst the lines, shimmering of the lines, flickering, colors, blur, and bending of the lines. This figure particularly depicts the mid-frequency grating from the PGT.
