Overly preserved fruit

A cartoon showing two citrus fruits having a conversation—one is inside a protective wax-based coating and expressing how well-preserved it feels. The cartoon was created to promote research on natural wax coatings that extend the postharvest shelf-life of citrus fruits. It uses humour and anthropomorphised fruit to highlight the effectiveness of food preservation techniques.
