Nigeria Income per Household by Local Government Area

The map shows the income per household for the almost 800 Local Government Areas (LGA) in Nigeria. LGAs are the secondary subdivisions, below states.

The map is made based on an analysis of various datasets from the Nigerian Statistics Bureau, the World Bank, the United Nations, the International Comparison Program, the IMF and more. The map should be seen as indicative. Precise data is not available, but major progress has been made in data quality since we last looked at this level in 2010.

We have often been cited by veterinary researchers in Nigeria in various journals. We hope to continue this tradition and look forward to hearing from interested people. We provide data for free to reputable institutions in Nigeria and beyond as part of Tellusant's public services program.
