Total protein was extracted from WT and NOS1−/− BMDMs treated with IL4 for 2, 8 and 24 h or not treated (0 h), and then the expression of total STAT6, phosphorylated STAT6 (pSTAT6), PPARγ and β-actin was detected by immunoblotting assay. Migration of molecular mass standard proteins is indicated on the left of the figure. Figures are representative of three separate experiments (A). The levels of pSTAT6 and PPARγ were quantified with normalization to total STAT6 and β-actin respectively (B and C), n = 3.
