Marcacci ACL reconstruction. The Marcacci technique involves use of a hamstrings autograft in which the tendons are harvested proximally and left attached at their anteromedial tibial insertion, passed through a tibial tunnel through the knee, “over the top” of the lateral femoral condyle, and secured at Gerdy’s tubercle [1].
