ReltonThe plot demonstrates the associations between DBP and DNA methylation of European and South Asian men collectively. The model was adjusted for confounders, estimated cell counts and principal components. The uncorrected log10(p-values) are plotted on the y-axis. The blue line is drawn to separate the CpG sites that surpassed p-value<1×10−05, a threshold for a suggestive association and the red line to separate the CpG sites that surpassed the Bonferroni-corrected threshold (p-value<1.24×10−07). The CpG sites that surpassed the Bonferroni-corrected threshold were considered to be associated with the trait.
