The model was adjusted for confounders, estimated cell counts and principal components. The uncorrected log10(p-values) are plotted on the y-axis. The blue line is drawn to separate the CpG sites that surpassed p-value<1×10⁻⁰⁵, a threshold for a suggestive association and the red line to separate the CpG sites that surpassed the Bonferroni-corrected threshold (p-value<1.24×10⁻⁰⁷). The CpG sites that surpassed the Bonferroni-corrected threshold were considered to be associated with the trait.
