Western blot was used to investigate the presence of the classical vesicle markers flotillin-1, CD63, CD9, and CD81, as well as the ER protein calnexin, in lEVs and sEVs and to validate a selection of proteins – ADAM10, mitofillin, flotillin-1, and CD81 – from the TMT analysis in all six EV subpopulations from two cutaneous melanoma metastatic tissues, with a special focus on high density (HD) and low density (LD) EVs.
