This dataset contains high-resolution photographs of anatomically preserved leafy branches assigned to Austrohamia (Cupressaceae s.l.), recovered from Jurassic cherts of the La Matilde Formation (Bahía Laura Complex, Late Jurassic) in the Deseado Massif, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. The material derives from two localities, Claudia and Cañadón Nahuel, and is housed in the Paleobotanical Collection of the Museo Regional Padre Molina (MPM-Pb 16118–16130). The specimens preserve exceptional foliar anatomy, including cross, longitudinal, oblique, and paradermal sections, allowing detailed comparisons with fossil and extant Cupressaceae. These remains provide new evidence on leaf structure and evolution within basal lineages of the family and represent one of the few occurrences of anatomically preserved cupressaceous foliage known from the Jurassic.
