Fig 1. Gene tree for TLR3 of 10 species of Teleost fish visualized in FigTree V1.4.4. Sequences were obtained via tBLASTn search against a Danio rerio (zebrafish) TLR3 sequence collected from Alphafold. Sequences were aligned in AliView, and converted from FASTA to newick file using phyML. Species include Danio rerio (zebrafish), Clupea harengus (atlantic herring), Oncorhynchus kisutch (coho salmon), Oncorhynchus mykiss (rainbow trout), Oncorhynchus tshawytscha (chinook salmon), Salmo salar (atlantic salmon), Salmo trutta (brown trout), Esox lucius (northern pike) Gadus morhua (atlantic cod), and Cyprinus carpio (common carp). Once in Fig-Tree, the outgroup (common carp) was re-rooted.
