Fig. 1, Phylogenetic tree of EFR homologs. Coding sequences were obtained by TBLASTN search of Arabidopsis and tomato genomes on Phytozome 13. Aligned protein translation of CDS sequences was created using MUSCLE in AliView, and FastTree was used to create a phylogenetic tree for analysis. A node was selected which contained EFR and most closely related tomato sequences. The resulting newick file was visualized using customized ggTree scripts, with Arabidopsis genes colored blue and tomato genes colored black.
