Experimental stimuli and task for dataset 2 (central-symbolic cue).

Each trial started with a set of four couloured rectangles. A cue appeared later, whose colour matched one of the previous rectangles, thus indicating the location to covertly attend to. After a 1.2 s orienting period, highlighted in yellow, the target rectangle reappeared in the same location. Participants were asked to report whether its orientation was the same as previously shown or not. Fig adapted from [24].
