The membrane potential, BD, and IBI of neurons #1 and #2 are depicted in blue and orange, respectively. (A) Revisiting the example from Fig 1, where the gray region indicates transient paw-shake-like activity. (B) Zooming in on the gray region from panel A, we see that BD₂ (orange lines) and IBI₁ (blue lines) increase, while BD₁ (blue lines) and IBI₂ (orange lines) remain roughly constant.
