The membrane potential, BD, and IBI of neurons #1 and #2 are depicted in blue and orange, respectively. (A) Revisiting the example from Fig 1, where the gray region indicates transient paw-shake-like activity. (B) Zooming in on the gray region from panel A, we see that BD2 (orange lines) and IBI1 (blue lines) increase, while BD1 (blue lines) and IBI2 (orange lines) remain roughly constant.
