P. brasiliensis yeast cells were treated with pepstatin A on concentrations of 15 and 30 μM during 1 h before interaction assay. Pepstatin A increase phagocytosis (A) and enhance antifungal activity of macrophages reducing colony forming units (B). Data were analyzed using Student’s t-test. Error bars correspond to the standard deviation of measurements performed in triplicate, and * indicates a significant difference (*p<0.05).
