<p>The majority of patients were not working (A) and only 7% of patients with liver cirrhosis used public transport prior to enrolment (B). Nearly all patients lived together with their spouses or even alone (C), while only 3% of the patients with liver cirrhosis lived together with children in a household. Beside household contacts, patients with HCC had mostly only contact to one person outside the household while patients with liver cirrhosis predominately had contact to two other persons per day.
