Data SEM of Biofilm Nannochloropsis oculata at various substrates

The research was aimed to evaluate appropriate substrate to grow biofilm of Nannochloropsis oculata. Cultivation medium used was modified KW21 medium with addition of natrium bicarbonate (NaHCO3). Various substrates were evaluated, namely banana stem, flash chamois synthetic, sponge, and plastic mica. Structure of biofilm was observed by SEM with 3 types magnification, namely 1000, 2500, and 5000.
