Decoding accuracy in analysis windows containing a fixed number of spikes across all neurons and stimuli. Each curve shows results of decoding with a different spike count number. Decoding accuracy is plotted against the beginning time of each read-out window. Each panel shows results of a different decoding method: (A) LDA, (B) TMPEUC, and (C) TMPCOS. Numerical data and analytical results can be found at osf.io/xhmus/. LDA, linear discriminant analysis; TMPCOS, template matching with angular distance metric; TMPEUC, template matching with Euclidean distance metric.
