The Chittagong Port is Bangladesh's main seaport of located on the bank of Karnaphuli river, and the core port of Bangladesh. It is ranked as the 58th busiest container port in the world in 2019. Chittagong Seaport handles 90% of Bangladesh's exports and imports and has been used by India, Nepal and Bhutan also planned to join for transshipment. It is one of the oldest port in the world.
