The black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens, larvae are increasingly acknowledged for their efficacy in organic waste management and biomass production. In cities like Antananarivo, Madagascar, where organic waste presents a significant challenge, identifying the most effective substrates for larval rearing is essential.
