This dataset provides the annual "urban core-suburban-rural" extents (1992-2021) in China using the nighttime light observations, including :

(1) National annual USR extent maps from 1992 to 2021 (e.g., "1992.tif")

(2) Every administrative unit's annual USR extent maps from 1992 to 2021 in the .zip compressed file (e.g., "北京市_F101992_usr.tif", "北京市_NPP2012_usr.tif")

(3)codes for producing the USR result
