SUPPLEMENTAL FIGURE S1. HOSCN is minimally inhibitory in rich media. HOSCN stress growth curve assays of S. sanguinis (A) or S. mutans (B) in Brain Heart Infusion broth. 500 µM HOSCN was added to treated cultures at t = 0 hr. Points plotted represent the mean ± SEM, n = 3 biological replicates.

SUPPLEMENTAL FIGURE S3. Quantification of S. mutans and S. sanguinis cell volumes in DROOL biofilms. Cell volumes of untreated (-) or 75 µM HOSCN-treated (+) 8 hr biofilms in DROOL. Cell volumes were calculated using the Imaris Image processing module and at least three experimental replicates. None of the treated conditions were significantly different from the respective untreated condition by oneway ANOVA with Tukey’s post hoc test.
