Minds Do Matter

Minds Do Matter is an exhibition that researched the connection between visual art and mental health. The exhibition was co-curated by Dr Malcom Bywaters, Tasmanian College of the Arts and Dr Derith Harris Senior Research Fellow with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Tasmania. The aim of the exhibition was to investigate the potential of the visual arts as a stimuli for emotional well being and to encourage the use of creativity as a vehicle for mental health recovery .
