e-module measurement uncertainly

Short course module with fieldwork component aimed to teach the effects of spatial variability on the uncertainty of measurements of an environmental variable and to teach to apply different methods of soil moisture measurement.

This module consist of the following: theoretical background / preparation (e-module with e-lectures), fieldwork (field measurement and soil sampling), laboratory work (sample processing), and reporting. The fieldwork will take about 4 hours to complete and the lab work on the next working day about one to two hours.

The set of teaching materials consist of a set of videos, the assignment and a blackboard module. Furthermore, an evaluation of this module at Utrecht University is provided (in Dutch).
