Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive impairment and memory decline. Ferroptosis is a form of cell death related to iron metabolism dysregulation that is distinct from apoptosis. This study aims to investigate the potential mechanisms through which key components of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Compound Linggui Zhugan Decoction inhibit microglial ferroptosis by suppressing the IL-17 and TNF pathways to alleviate AD. This study elucidates the potential therapeutic effects of key components of the TCM Compound Linggui Zhugan Decoction in reducing microglial ferroptosis by inhibiting the IL-17 and TNF pathways, offering novel strategies and targets for AD treatment.
