Data from Web of Science (downloaded15th November 2024) on numbers of papers mentioning "logit" or "probit", by year and field (of study).

Note that we do not look at papers mentioning both. There are also probably a lot of papers that use logits or probits but do not mention this in the data on Web of Science.

• The variables are:
• Year: Year. 1970 - 2024
• Model: Character. "logit" or "probit"
• Field: Character. Field of research: Web of Science category. XX unique values.
• logit: Integer. Number of papers mentioning "logit"
• probit: Integer. Number of papers mentioning "probit"
• UseInModel: logical. Should the data be used in the model? i.e. are there >200 papers in that field that mention logits and/or probits.
