The management of AL is complicated and have shifted from surgery to conservative treatment with relaparotomy remaining the final option. Here we observed the inflammatory biomarkers of AL patients and found IL-6 is a sensitive biomarker to inform AL while the trajectory of CRP could predict relaparotomy. These findings add evidence to the clinical decision and management of AL.
