This paper describes for the first time a link and clinical relevance of FAP expression in thyroid cancer cells, cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and a fibronectin1/transforming growth factor-β-driven immune escape of thyroid cancer. These data suggest FAP as a valid prognostic marker and a promising therapeutic target for anaplastic thyroid carcinoma.</p>
