Investigating how different methods for measuring phenotypic plasticity in maize under drought conditions can reveal the genetic basis of crop adaptation. We assess the efficacy of these methods in identifying genetic regions linked to phenotypic plasticity, particularly focusing on genotype-by-environment interactions. Our goal is to uncover key traits and associated QTLs that can enhance breeding efforts for climate-resilient crops.
