<b>Framing of the U.S. Withdrawal from the WHO</b> - Dataset

<p dir="ltr">This dataset contains Reddit comments analyzed in the study "Framing of the U.S. Withdrawal from the WHO: Platformed Polarization and Global Health Politics on Reddit." </p><p dir="ltr">The data includes comments from four ideologically distinct subreddits (r/Conservative, r/Libertarian, r/politics, and r/centrist) discussing the 2025 U.S. withdrawal from the World Health Organization. A mixed-method approach combining automated data collection with qualitative content analysis was used to examine how different ideological communities framed this policy decision. </p><p dir="ltr">Data collection period: January 20 - April 01, 2025</p><p dir="ltr">Total comments analyzed: 1,378</p><p dir="ltr">Subreddits: r/Conservative, r/Libertarian, r/politics, r/centrist</p><p dir="ltr">Files included:</p><p dir="ltr">- Raw Reddit comments with metadata (post text, timestamps, subreddit, scores)</p><p dir="ltr">- Coded data with frame classifications</p>
