<b>Ectopic expression of wax ester synthase under a wood-specific promoter enhances cell wall production and wood hydrophobicity</b>

<p dir="ltr">We studied growth, biomass, photosynthesis, wood properties and lipids in P. x canescens wildtype and transgenic lines. The transgenic lines expressed a jojoba wax ester synthase under the DX15 promoter. The DX15 promoter is specific to wood. The plants were under greenhouse conditions. </p><p dir="ltr">All abbreviations are explained in a readme sheet coming with the data folder.</p>
