This dataset contains the raw and processed data from a quasi-experimental study that investigated the impact of three teaching approaches—role-playing, group discussion, and traditional lecture-based instruction—on the clinical self-efficacy of nursing students. A total of 90 undergraduate nursing students from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences were randomly assigned to one of the three groups. Self-efficacy was measured using a validated clinical self-efficacy questionnaire administered before and three months after the intervention. The dataset includes group allocations, pre- and post-intervention self-efficacy scores, and basic demographic variables. This dataset can be used for replication studies or further educational research in nursing and health sciences.
