Dead-ends are points in water distribution networks (WDNs) where water flow is almost stagnant, leading to pipe corrosion and microbial growth, which degrade water quality. Controlling the contaminant dispersion in dead-ends is crucial for maintaining water quality. The developed predictive model developed from CFD data was integrated into the water quality model of YC Town's water distribution network, which was established based on the EPANET 2 software, resulting in an improved water quality model. The developed predictive model confirmed the effectiveness of spoilers in reducing YC town's WDN contaminants.
