Simulation results and OpenFOAM case files from wall-modelled LES of turbulent channel flow and flat-plate turbulent boundary layer flow. This dataset accompanies the following paper, please cite it if you make use of the data:

The contents are divided into zip files with the channel_ and tbl_ prefixes, corresponding the two considered flow cases. A short description of the contetns of each file follows
- tbl_tri, tbl_quad, tbl_poly contain the 3 TBL OpenFOAM cases including full 3D data. Spanwise-averaged data is also provided for each case as a .vtm file.
- tbl_probes contains sampled probe data from TBL simulations.
- tbl_time_spectra contains the time spectra computed based on the probe data
- tbl_extracted_data contains U0 and theta values extracted from the spanwise-averaged TBL data.
- channel_15, channel_20, channel_25, channel_30 each contain 4 OpenFOAM channel flow cases: tri, hex, poly and poly-hybrid grid, respectively. Full 3D data is provided.
- channel_averaged contains hdf5 files with time and spatially averaged channel flow results.
- channel_probes contains probe data from channel flow simulations.
- channel_time_spectra contains time spectra computed based on the probe data-
