This study created and tested tools to measure responsible tourism behavior among 550 Generation Y tourists. The analysis confirmed three hypotheses with high reliability. Factor analysis revealed 12 items across three components: environmental, social and cultural, and economic, explaining percentage of variance. The instruments are suitable for social indices and future research on causal relationships.
