posted on 2021-03-28, 14:16 authored by Alex WilliamsonThis collection is a body of illustrations comprising American editorial commissions since 2014, specialising in contemporary socio-political issues, and Williamson’s 2019 solo exhibition, Untitled/Re-assembled, highlighting his collage based methodology. Through reappropriation and assemblage, using digital and analogue print and collage techniques, Williamson explores the intersections between multiple graphic elements.
This item contains documentation of Williamson's working process images that were exhibited as a part of the ‘Untitled/Re-assembled. Intersections of form and content: Studio Process, Collage and the Graphic Archive' exhibition of Williamson's work that took place at the Windgate Gallery, part of the Windgate Centre for Art and Design at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, Arkansa, USA, in 2019.
