This repository hosts data related to a comprehensive study on the influence of life history traits, habitat characteristics, and phylogeny on the risk of tick infestation in wild birds in the tropical region. The dataset includes detailed information on over 3488 birds, 322 species, 41 families, and 20 orders. Also include infestation prevalence, identified tick species, and the habitat characteristics where infested birds were found. Additionally, includes the R code to assess tick infestation probability on birds using Phylogenetic Generalized Linear Mixed Bayesian Models (PGLMM).
