We examined thermal effects on mitochondrial function in deer mice (Peromyscus maniculatus). Mitochondrial respiration and ROS emission was measured at 37, 40, and 42°C using both permeabilized fibres and isolated mitochondria from the gastrocnemius muscle. See associated publication for additional details on data and experimental design.
