The first troglobitic terrestrial isopod (Isopoda, Oniscidea) from Peru

Caecopactes chullachaqui sp. nov. is described from Cueva de Palestina, Department of San Martín. The new species constitutes the third troglobitic taxon known for the country and extends the knowledge of the distribution of the genus.
