TRANSSET: A Drone-Captured Dataset for Enhancing Vehicle Detection and Traffic Monitoring Algorithms
This research introduces TRANSSET, a novel annotated dataset composed of drone-captured video footage aimed at enhancing the development of vehicle detection and traffic monitoring algorithms. The dataset consists of over 4700 high-resolution images from two different locations, annotated in multiple formats, offering a unique perspective on traffic conditions. The TRANSSET dataset provides a significant resource to train machine learning models for aerial traffic surveillance, a field presently constrained by a lack of high-quality data. Consequently, this dataset could greatly assist in advancing more accurate and robust traffic monitoring algorithms.
