This study aimed to utilize two publicly available datasets (ProteomeXchange Consortium, Dataset Identifier: PXD043352; Gene Expression Omnibus, GEO: GSE67539) to explore potential age-dependent regulation of presumptive NeuroD2 target genes. Genome-wide NeuroD2 target sequences were filtered and analyzed for potential age-related changes. This approach aimed to shed light on the hypothetical role of NeuroD2 in age-related molecular mechanisms in the hippocampus.
