Single_Leg_Stance_COP_data.xlsx
Research Objective: We hypothesized that plantar footpad(thickness 2mm) stimulation would improve postural control during single-leg stance.
Data Description: The dataset includes center of pressure (COP) trajectories measured under five foot conditions( Control Group:C Group, Medial pad Group: M Group, Lateral Pad Group: L Group, Metatarsal Head Pad Group: MH Group, and Full Pad Group: F Group).
Data Collection Methods: Participants were 21 healthy adult males (age 20-22 years). COP data were collected using a force platform(Zebris WIN FDM System, Inter Reha Co.Ltd.Japan) with a sampling rate of 50 Hz. Participants maintained a single leg stance on the device and their COP was measured. COP parameters extracted from the balance function measuring device were analyzed: Total Path Length (mm), Rectangular Area (mm²), Medial-Lateral Sway Velocity (mm/s), and Anterior-Posterior Sway Velocity (mm/s).
