These data represent simulation results from various scenario experiments conducted with the Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS). Control Run was carried out to represent the conditions of 1970–1980 (SSC_Control_Run). Six scenario experiments (Exp 1–Exp 6) were designed, with each scenario introducing the modification of one forcing factor to represent the changes of this factor from the 1970s to the 2010s. All experiments were run for 11 years, and the results from the final year were SSC_Exp1-SSC_Exp6. These six factors are: wind speed, coastline and topography, mean sea level, Yellow River runoff and sediment discharge, air-sea heat flux, and surface freshwater flux.
