Sequence variations identified in Canadian Holstein cows by the method of genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS)

Identification of sequence variations (single nucleotide polymorphisms - SNPs) in 1,246 Canadian Holstein cows by the method of genomewide genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS). A total of 515,787 SNPs were identified out of which 76,355 SNPs with call rates greater than 85% and minor allele frequency greater than or equal to 1.5% were used in genome wide association study (GWAS) and for estimates of heritabilities and genetic correlations for various milk traits.
