Data, plotting scripts and analysis scripts supporting the paper entitled 'Second-Order Cues to Figure Motion Enable Object
Detection During Prey Capture by Praying Mantises'. The data are from experiments that investigated the role of first- and second-order motion cues to prey detection and depth perception during prey capture by mantises (<i>Sphodromantis lineola</i>) in different experiments as detailed in the paper. The data files detail the occurrence and number of behaviours (tracks, strikes and tensions) in response to different disparity and motion conditions.
