Data, plotting scripts and analysis scripts supporting the paper entitled 'Second-Order Cues to Figure Motion Enable Object
Detection During Prey Capture by Praying Mantises'. The data are from experiments that investigated the role of first- and second-order motion cues to prey detection and depth perception during prey capture by mantises (Sphodromantis lineola) in different experiments as detailed in the paper. The data files detail the occurrence and number of behaviours (tracks, strikes and tensions) in response to different disparity and motion conditions.
