Quantification of phagocytic lymphocytes in ectothermic vertebrates: a simplified technique for assessing immune function.

In order to optimize an assay for quantifying phagocytic lymphocytes in ectothermic vertebrates, we evaluated three different techniques to test whether simplified, widely available techniques would produce results comparable to more technical methods.
