Protein quantification by Standard Test Tube protocol (Pierce BCA Protein Assay Kit)

Purified proteins were quantified using the Standard Test Tube Protocol (Pierce BCA Protein Assay Kit) following manufacturer specifications by producing a BSA colour response curve as standard curve. Protein samples were diluted when required in order to be within the assay sensitivity (0 - 2 mg/ml)
