Person-centered care training implementation
Person-Centered Approaches and Affective Domain Instruction in Dental Postgraduate Training - This study evaluates the impact of structured Person-Centered Care (PCC) curriculum with integrated assessments, which utilize diverse assessment tools to measure multiple competencies on postgraduate prosthodontic students. Specifically, it aims to:
1. Examine students’ perceptions and experiences in a PCC-focused curriculum.
2. Assess the effectiveness of integrated assessments, particularly within the affective domain, in fostering PCC competencies.
3. Identify challenges and opportunities in implementing PCC training in postgraduate prosthodontic education.
By including PCC principles into dental education, this study provides a framework for training future prosthodontists to deliver holistic, patient-centered care, ensuring both clinical excellence and meaningful patient engagement.
